StopTech Street Performance brake pads are StopTech's newest formulation, offering an unusual combination of good bite, low noise, and extremely wide temperature range, making them ideal as "dual use" street to medium track pads. These are the standard pads included with StopTech big brakes and are now available for many OEM applications.  These are Zeckhausen Racing's preferred high performance street pads.

Centric Posi Quiet Ceramic pads offer extremely long pad life and are Centric's lowest dust pads, keeping your wheels cleaner longer than almost any other pad.  Quiet and rotor friendly.  Excellent friction level for improved pedal feel, making it an appropriate choice for performance cars.  Composite shims on every pad prevent low speed brake squeal.  Stop washing brake dust off your wheels every few days!

Hawk HPS high performance street pads have low dust, low noise, and low rotor wear.  Slightly higher in friction level than Hawk Ceramic pads with a similar MOT of around 750 degrees F.  Not recommended for track use, as their friction level falls off rapidly when the MOT is exceeded.

Hawk Performance Ceramic street pads have extremely low dust, low noise, and low rotor wear.  These represent the latest technology in street friction.  Not for track use.

Hawk HP PLUS high performance street pads have moderate dust, moderate rotor wear, very high initial bite and a Maximum Operating Temperature (MOT) slightly higher than Hawk HPS.  They tend to be noisy, often squealing under light braking, although proper bedding can help.  Ideal for autocross and may be used for track days on lower horsepower cars.  Not recommended for heavy track use, as friction level falls off rapidly when MOT is exceeded.

Performance Friction (PFC) 1038 pads can be used for daily driving as well as light to medium duty track use.  Excellent cold bite and friction level.  Surprisingly low dust and low noise for a pad that can be taken to the race track on weekends.  Ideal for track events and driving schools for drivers who would rather not swap between street and track pads.

Ferodo DS2500 Club Race pads can be used on the street and for light to medium track duty.  Good cold bite, but can be noisy.  Proper bedding can help reduce this noise.  Less compressible than other pads, giving it excellent pedal feel and good modulation.  The average friction level of about 0.50 remains constant at any speed and at temperatures up to 1,000 degrees F, after which it falls off slowly.  Frequently used in the rear in conjunction with Ferodo DS3000 in front.

CL RC6E Endurance race pads stand alone among "dual-use" pads in their ability to be pushed hard in extreme road racing, yet are well mannered on the street, other than moderate low speed squeal. Wear rate is a fraction of popular semi-metallic race pads and RC6E is unusually rotor friendly. Excellent cold bite and semi-porous material gives exceptional bite in the rain. While seemingly expensive, when pad and rotor life are considered, represents very good value. Expect at least twice the longevity of the race pads you're using now.

Hawk Blue 9012 Race pads have a stable torque curve, good bite, and a MOT of 1,050°F.  Low to moderate rotor wear when warm, but extremely high rotor wear when cold.  Works well for track use in the front of lower horsepower, front-engine cars with less experienced drivers.  Advanced drivers can overheat this pad on medium to heavy cars.  We primarily use this pad as a "tool" to remove pad deposits from rotors.

Hawk DTC-60 is a member of the "Dynamic Torque Control" race pad family with similar characteristics to DTC-70, but less initial bite, slightly lower friction and an optimal temperature range starting 100 degrees F lower.  An ideal rear pad, when used with DTC-70 in front, for racers who prefer split friction levels.  May be used in front on lower horsepower cars or on cold days when DTC-70 can't be heated sufficiently.  Relatively low rotor and pad wear.

$393

63-470-1247

Hawk DTC-70 is the most serious member of the "Dynamic Torque Control" race pad family, with an average level of friction among the highest available and an incredibly linear pressure to torque relationship. The result gives the driver an unparalleled ability to modulate brake torque at the limit of tire adhesion, while keeping pedal effort low.  Relatively low rotor and pad wear for such an aggressive pad.

PFC 01 Race pads have very high average torque output, rising over its operating temperature range, and a MOT of 2000 degrees F.  Excellent bite, low rotor wear, and average pad wear.  Novice drivers may find this pad challenging to modulate.  Pad of choice for top race teams and our favorite due to overwhelming positive feedback and few complaints of judder.  Frequently used in the front of front engine cars with PFC 97 in the rear.

$446

63-660-1247

PFC 06 Race pads have high average torque output, rising over its operating temperature range, and a MOT of 2000 degrees F.  Excellent bite, exceptionally low rotor wear, and better than average pad wear.  May be used for endurance racing, like PFC97, but with significantly higher bite.  OK for use in both front and rear calipers.

$237

63-360-1247

Ferodo DS3000 Race pads have very high coefficient of friction of about 0.62, a flat torque output over its operating temperature range and very good modulation characteristics.  Frequently used in the front of front engine cars in conjunction with Ferodo DS2500 in the rear.  Not recommended for street use.
