Dave Zeckhausen's rare 1984 TVR 280i Fixed Head
is pictured below. The vast majority of TVR 280i models, made by
hand in Blackpool, England at a rate of just 3 cars per week, are
convertibles. See

This 1984 280i was one of only
five coupes sold in North America. It was purchased new at a dealership in North Carolina while David attended
Duke University. It was sold to a collector in 1994, shortly after
it's role was filled by a 3rd Generation Mazda RX-7 Twin-Turbo. So
many cars, so few garage bays!
